Driving Miss Daisy

Winner of the 1988 Pulitzer Prize and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play, Driving Miss Daisy is a warm-hearted, humorous and affecting study of the unlikely relationship between an aging, crotchety white Southern lady, and a proud, soft-spoken black man. The Neil Simon Festival presentation of this long-running Off-Broadway success and Academy Award-winning film, produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Inc.,  brings together two of TV’s most beloved co-stars:

  • Clarence Gilyard, who played Chuck Norris’ Texas Ranger partner in the 1990s hit show Walker, Texas Rangerand who co-starred with Andy Griffith in the 1980s crime drama Matlock
  • Sheree J. Wilson,  who played April Stevens in the CBS-TV hit, Dallas for 5 years, and then played the lead female role of Alex Cahill during the entire 8 year run of Walker, Texas Ranger opposite Chuck Norris and Clarency Gilyard.

Clarence and Sheree each have millions of fans…and they have great on stage chemistry from their years working together on Walker, Texas Ranger. You don't want to miss this one..."Driving Miss Daisy" at the Glen Rose Auditorium Theater!
